Leo J. McCormick, DC
“Chiropractic is not just for those with “bad backs”; chiropractic is for everyone. My purpose is to bring affordable chiropractic health care to as many people as possible. I want others to experience what I myself have experienced with chiropractic care – a more healthy and happy life. My greatest joy is seeing others regain the ability to do the things they love to do in life – pain free.”
Dr. McCormick truly believes that he can make a difference in people’s lives through his practice of chiropractic.
He began his career with pre-chiropractic education at Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pa where he studied sciences such as organic and inorganic chemistry, biology, and physics. His Doctorate was earned at the well-renowned Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. There he studied x-ray, bio-chemistry, human anatomy and physiology, diagnosis, and chiropractic adjusting techniques. He served an internship in patient care at the Palmer College Public clinic where he was awarded the prestigious gold coat for his care and attention to patients. After graduating Cum Laude in 1987, he returned to open a practice in Wayne, Pa. In 2001, he established his current practice in Pottstown and then opened a clinic in Elverson in 2008.
Originally from the Norristown area, Dr. Leo married his college sweetheart, Christine Furstnau of Phoenixville. They have been residents of Pottstown since 1989 and their 5 children are under regular chiropractic care. “I love this community and its people. We have been very happy here and our children have flourished.”
As a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. McCormick has treated thousands of patients helping them to attain and maintain a healthy body and an active lifestyle. Primary emphasis is placed on spinal biomechanics and structure. He firmly believes that patient education and understanding is the key to delivering quality healthcare.
“I love to talk about chiropractic and to encourage individuals to get actively involved in their own healthcare. I especially like to answer questions for those who are skeptics or who have had misunderstandings about what chiropractic can do for them.”
Dr. McCormick is also an expert in the area of safety and injury prevention in the workplace. He is currently on various panels for businesses and corporations seeking to enhance their work environment. As a public speaker, he has delivered community workshops and seminars on wellness. Personally, he enjoys gardening, hiking, exercising, playing ice hockey, and hanging out with his kids.
Darryl Hajduczek, DC
First and foremost, Dr. Darryl is as much of a chiropractic patient as he is a Chiropractor. He has been a patient for over a decade and states that he is healthier now in his thirties then he was in his teens and twenties. It was Dr. Darryl’s results from being a chiropractic patient that inspired him to become a chiropractor.
Dr. Darryl grew up in Ontario, Canada and he received his Bachelor of Science degree at Queen’s University in Kingston. (Much like Philadelphia being the original capital of the United States, Kingston was the original capital of Canada until 1867 when it was moved to Ottawa. – Trivial fact for history buffs.) He then moved to Chicago, Illinois to attend the National University of Health Sciences where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic in 2001.
During his time in Chicago he worked in the gross anatomy lab as a teaching assistant, performing special dissections and attending to lab specimens. He performed his internship at Chicago General Health Services just blocks from the United Center and Cook County Hospital (used as County General in TV’s ER).
Dr. Darryl is a registered and active member of the International Chiropractors Association (ICA) and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). He has been certified through the ICPA to perform the Webster Technique for pregnant women.
Dr. Darryl loves to share his enthusiasm for preventive wellness and natural healing with the public and is a sought after speaker by many businesses and organizations. As residents of Limerick, Pa, he and his wife, Becky enjoy golf, tennis and playing with their son, Ethan.
E. Roger Walker, DC
Dr. Roger Walker attended Glassboro State College (now Rowan University) in New Jersey and earned a Doctorate in Chiropractic from Pennsylvania College of Chiropractic in 1995. Dr. Walker is an expert in sports injuries and rehabilitation. Dr. Walker believes that chiropractic benefits not only injuries to the spine, but injuries to the extremities as well.
Dr. Walker has been a chiropractic patient for more than twenty years. While playing football in school, he tackled an opponent and experienced numbness in his arm. His mother, who had been receiving chiropractic treatment for relief of her asthma symptoms, encouraged him to seek care. He did and after only a short period of care, Dr. Walker’s symptoms disappeared and he was again able to play football pain-free. This encounter inspired him to become a chiropractor.
Dr. Walker and his family reside in Limerick, PA where he enjoys regular exercise and spending time with his family. His wife, Shelly and their two children receive regular chiropractic care and lead happy and active lives.
Dr. Walker sincerely enjoys helping patients achieve their maximum health potential through chiropractic. He wants others to reap the same benefits that chiropractic care has given to him and his family.
